This network has been my life's purpose. Thanks for making it.

Golang developer.

I like to experiment with different software. Find solutions and unusual moves.

The common sort of #lisp hacker, #MartialArtist, spiritual nomad, and father. I like #conlangs, #coding, and #BeeKeeping. I live near #boston. I run the cantos.social instance.

Skim before following: https://seirdy.one/about/fediverse-greeting/. It describes how I accept follow requests, block people, etc.

Does not believe in ignoring demographics because they're "only N% of our users". Interested in #Accessibility, #SearchEngines, #Privacy, #Security (in that order).

tech-stuff: check my "uses" page: https://seirdy.one/about/uses/
Other tech interests in no particular order: linked data, the #IndieWeb, the #Gemini protocol (more into the community than the technology).

Politics: Leftist. Under-represented groups deserve disproportionately greater attention. Trans rights, abortion is healthcare, be crime do gay. Second generation Indian-American.

Neuro-atypicality: I have #anxiety and #ADHD, and deal with #OverStimulation.

Testimonials, definitely not taken out of context:

"what he is doing is consequential and effecting [sic] the people" —J. Robert Oppenheimer.
"you are the least funny person on this network it hurts" —Albert Einstein.
"you use pleroma? suspended" —Akko, a character from the anime franchise "Little Witch Academia".
"he doesn't have zero pussy." —C.C., from "Code Geass".
"homie deserves some appreciation for his work" —Corona-chan.
"a fucking fed" —a regular fed.
"its always fucking sierdy" —Winner of the 2023 Fedi Spelling Bee.
"a trashbag sub-scum piece of filth" —The Junkman, a nemesis of Jimmy Neutron.

I love making short games and loops. My go-to engine is Löve2d (with Fennel of course) and my preferred DAW is Reaper. Currently I'm testing the waters with Godot.

I like functional programming, collecting arxiv pdfs, trying to grok Topos Theory for years, and turning tedious problems into interesting math problems. I also like meditation and consciousness and Self Growth but am deeply suspicious of others who share this interest, in a Groucho Marxian sense

Details of my psychodrama are unimportant but fwiw I try to minimize being That Guy across a variety of dimensions

she/her · software girl · brony, trekkie, nerd · less new every day

Just a boring, average gal who thinks she knows a thing or two.

⭐️ This is a particularly great post. Thank you for sharing it.
🔁 I agree, you said it better than I could have, and/or I would like this on my wall forever.

No alt text? No boost. (The only exception is if the post body describes the image satisfactorily.)

Transfemme tech leader in Columbus, OH.

Started as a PHP (then Rails) coder and spent 11 years building CoverMyMeds from concept to 1.4B acquisition. Now I'm building and investing in startups and/or being a giant dork. They sometimes overlap.

Still a tech dork at heart, a parent of two boys, and an amateur poker and synth player. Not bad at shooting pool for someone with monocular vision.

I'm a software developer developer, a scared transgirl, a poet and a futurist in a world with no future.
I want to make the world a better place

I'm flirty and cute, but just to share love in the world, I'm taken <3
